ARPO Events Scheduled

ARPO holds adoptions every Saturday, except holidays, at the Castleton Petsmart, 82nd and Allisonville Rd. from noon to 4 pm.  We will also hold adoptions at the Petsmart on Michigan Rd. and 86th St. on the last Saturday of every month, and at the Three Dog Bakery in Broad Ripple the first Saturday of every month (except holidays).   All times are 12-4 pm.

Angie's List Memberships for Sale

Planning on hiring out home repairs any time soon? Get recommendations for the best service providers in town and help ARPO at the same time. For every new $37.00/1-year member ship that is sold through ARPO, ARPO receives over 50% of the membership fee. You as the new Angie's List member receive the names and numbers of companies in a variety of areas with whom Angie's List members have had good experiences. If you are unhappy with a service provider, Angie's List offers a complaint resolution service (even if the service provider was not a recommendation from Angie's List). Finally, you get a monthly magazine and discounts for area businesses and entertainment attractions. ARPO will have enrollment forms at our upcoming adoption events. You may also contact us for an application.

ARPO Seeks Foster Homes

We are always in need of foster homes to temporarily care for our adoptable companion animals.  If you can provide a foster home for any of our other dogs, cats, puppies, or kittens, please contact us.  We are looking for foster homes for all ages and sizes.  We especially need people who are willing to take in a mother and her entire litter when they are too young to be separated.

Always In Need of Supplies

In preparation for our newsletter, we are in need of donations of copy paper, white or any color.  Since we are a not for profit, all volunteer group, we always appreciate donations to help us as we rescue and care for the animals. We have the following needs at this time: plastic storage boxes, deskjet printer labels (for our mailings), paper towels, hand sanitizer (anti-bacterial hand wipes, or sanitizers such as Purell, etc.), blankets, dog and cat beds, antibacterial cleaner, dog and cat toys and treats, collars and leashes for puppies, and safety collars for the kittens. We could also use a book of baby names to help us name the many dogs and cats we take in. We are in particular need of large and extra-large sized DOG CRATES. Many times folks can foster dogs for us but do not have crates - so we need the crates to extend our foster network. And of course we need money to pay medical expenses as well as help make copies of our literature, forms, newsletter, etc. Your donations are greatly appreciated!  Items may be dropped off at the Castleton Petsmart Saturdays between 12 and 4, or contact us to arrange a drop off time.
