Jimmy (formerly Mater)
Jimmy has been such a joy and awesome addition to our little family.  I adopted him in November as a surprise for my fiancé as we just bought our first home and always said we would adopt a dog and name him Jimmy after Jimmy Buffett!  Well we definitely have our little or should I say big boy!  He is such a lovable and well behaved dog.  His personality is out of this world and just suits us perfectly.  Thank you to ARPO for allowing us this opportunity to have Jimmy as apart of our family.  If we decide to adopt again, we will definitely come to you guys first.  Thank you for all you guys do!
Monroe (formerly Mongo)
About a year ago, my fiancée and I decided to rescue a dog in need. After much searching, we found “Mongo”, a Golden Retriever mix. I believe it was Amy who introduced us to him at his foster parent’s home. I instantly fell in love, and my son, who is afraid of large dogs, instantly bonded with him. We agreed to adopt him. It was challenging at first as he was trying to establish where he belonged in our “pack”. But after lots of redirection and lots of love, he soon became a perfect addition to our family. When we received his paperwork, I was in for a very special treat; we shared the same birthday! That further confirmed that he belonged with us. We kept his given name, Monroe. We often call him Roe Dog as a nick name. He has proven to be very smart, and loves to be loved on or simply by your side whenever he has the chance. Thank you so very much for giving us the opportunity to give Monroe his furever home.
Yetta (formerly Yoda) was adopted last fall and spent her first Christmas and Hanukkah with me and her brother Solly who was adopted from the Kokomo Humane Society. Yetta is such a sweetheart! She and Solly are the best of friends! They are together all the time. They bring such joy and happiness to my life and I thank God for my lovable new companions!
